Did This Teen Create The World’s Safest Gun?

source: youtube

Every 30 minutes a child is either injured or killed by a gun or firearm in the United States. 18 year old inventor Kai Kloepfer is making moves to change that statistic for good. Through a grant that was given to him, teen inventor Kloepfer created a handgun with a built in fingerprint sensor that will only fire the gun when its owner is holding it. If someone else were to try to use the gun, the fingerprint reader would not allow them to fire it. Is this enough to shift America’s gun culture? Watch this clip and decide for yourself.
